WEEE

Portable electronic and electrical equipment (e.g. computers, printers, monitors, toasters, etc.) that cannot be reused should be transported to the WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment) local recycling points. Bulky WEEE equipment (Refrigerators, kitchens, air conditioners, Televisions, etc.) should be delivered to the supplier (if it results from a device replacement). In all other cases the bulky items stream process should be followed.

BATTERIES

Batteries must not be placed  in the residual waste bag  as they pollute the environment. The AFIS system has placed many battery collection bins in various public places and citizens are invited to use them .

CLOTHING / CHILDREN’S TOYS

Used Children’s toys and clothes can, if in good condition, be donated to various charities for reuse by children who need them. Citizens can also place clothing in various recycling and re-use clothing bins located around Aglantzia.
